“Lily and Lolly: The Forgotten Yeats Sisters” coming soon to Sky Arts

We are absolutely thrilled to finally announce our upcoming documentary “Lily and Lolly: The Forgotten Yeats Sisters” which will premiere on International Women’s Day, Friday March 8 on Sky Arts and streaming service NOW.

For the past few months we’ve been working with the inimitable Imelda May as she uncovers the remarkable story of Susan (Lily) and Elizabeth (Lolly) Yeats, sisters of well-loved literary genius W.B. Yeats and celebrated artist Jack Butler Yeats. This documentary brings the sisters firmly into the spotlight as we examine their pivotal role in the Irish cultural and literary revival of the 1920s with their craft guild Dun Emer Guild.

Produced by an all-female crew led by our award-winning director Maggie Breathnach, this is an inspiring story about the lives and work of two exceptional Irish women.
