WHAT WE DO
We create engaging content that supports artists, promotes cultural development and participation, and helps to break barriers in areas of diversity and minority groups. Through contemporary productions like IFTA-winning “Imeall” (TG4) and RTS Ireland award-winning “Voices of Ireland” (Sky Arts), our vision is to push the boundaries of the reach of arts programming and the Irish language. With more localised and targeted productions like “Gradam Ceoil” (TG4), “Fleadh Cheoil” (RTÉ) and “Bláth na hAoise” (TG4), our core aim is to champion and showcase the voices that shape the cultural narrative of our nation, be they literary giants or local community artists.
As well as artist partnerships, we have developed significant relationships across Ireland with key stakeholders, from governmental bodies to community groups to NGOs. Off-screen activity is priority, coming up with inventive, inclusive, and inspirational ways to encourage participation within communities, towns, and festivals. We also have extensive experience in nationwide and cross-border initiatives. With Belfast City Council, and The Duncairn - as part of “Gradam Ceoil” (TG4) – we helped to create an inaugural bursary scheme supporting creativity and cultural expression for young people to help promote traditional music in the North. We also collaborated with NI Screen and the ILBF (Irish Language Broadcast Fund) to develop skilled crew with the capacity to work in Irish, and this remains a core aspect of our business strategy and organisational culture.
