Traditional Music Series (RTÉ)
Red Shoe Productions has produced Fleadh Cheoil Na hÉireann for RTÉ for the last two years. Through our work on the series to date, we have produced two high-quality seasons, both visually and musically. We have focused on individual performers and their stories, group performances, music, song and dance filmed in diverse locations, and overall produced a snapshot and soundtrack of the very best traditional music as performed at this signature international cultural event.
The highlight of Irish traditional music in the global calendar, we have showcased some of the biggest and best musicians; Stockton’s Wing, Zoe Conway, Hothouse Flowers, Sibéal Ní Chasaide, Cherish the Ladies, Kevin Burke, Moya Brennan. We also heard tunes from some of the stars of the future through the competitions and Scoil Éigse.
