Tristan has worked with Red Shoe Productions since 2010, initially on a full-time basis working on our IFTA-winning arts series Imeall. He presented over 100 editions of the programme and researched even more, and contiunes to contribute to Red Shoe on a Freelance basis.

"Working on a programme that brings me face to face with some of my favourite artists is a dream job, and getting to see every corner of the country and meet great people is an absolute joy. I also love developing ideas for other programmes. I have nothing against the wheel, but it can be reinvented. I play the bodhrán with Téada (huge in Japan). I’m good at guessing what the weather will be like, but am terrible at assembling flatpack. That’s my story. And I’m sticking to it!"
